Intro Tennis

Intro Tennis provides specialist lessons with those children enrolled in the tennis program.

These lessons are affordable and you can really see the difference that it can make in children’s hand-eye coordination and confidence. It is also a great way for the children to get active outside.

The program will:

  • Introduce your child to the basics of tennis
  • Reward each child with a medal for perseverance
  • Develop gross motor skills and hand eye coordination
  • Increase confidence and learning ability
  • Build team play and group participation
  • Be lots of fun!

*These lessons run as an added extra for our families, it is not part of the day to day Clubhouse curriculum.

Happy Feet

Happy Feet’s interactive themed adventure classes are packed so full of original music, amazing costumes and props, magic, games and laughter, it’s actually hard to believe that the children are learning so much. Happy Feet entertains, inspires and encourages children to make positive, healthy choices for themselves, the world around them, and in their relationships with others.

Hairdresser– We have our Clubhouse hairdresser, she visits the centre regularly  to cut children’s hair if requested for a small cost. This is a very popular service as lots of our families are busy ones!

Dentist Visit-  Annually, we give families the opportunity to have their children receive a check up during their day here at Coomera Clubhouse.

Community Library- In each of our centre’s foyers we have a Community Library, full of books to borrow and take home to read.

3a Learning Library- This is a great resource to promote conversational reading with families and their children as part of the Abecedarian Approach.

Kindergarten Graduation Ceremony – Each year we hold our annual Coomera Clubhouse Graduation Ceremony for our Kindergarten children (Wombats & Galahs). It is held at the Ivan Gibbs centre at the Coomera Anglican College to put on a great show for our families. It is a wonderful way of celebrating the children’s time at Coomera Clubhouse before the children begin their school journey at prep.

Centre photos– Once a year children will have their portrait taken by a professional photographer and parents are then given the opportunity to purchase these photos in a range of sizes. Older children are photographed as a class group which is a great memory of their time at Coomera Clubhouse.

Educational shows– We are very lucky at Coomera Clubhouse to have various shows and visits from interesting people throughout the year. Regulars in our event calendars are: Wild Rangers with their reptile show, Healthy Harold, Recycle Man, Koori Kulcha (Indigenous show), The Pirates Secret Treasure show, Santa Around the World Show.

Family involvement– Throughout each year at the centre we also love to invite our families to the centre for various days such as our Mother’s Day morning tea, Fathers Day afternoon tea and Grandparents Day. Our Easter bonnet parade also welcomes families to our centre and of course we have our Christmas concert where everyone is welcome!
